History
Drivelines NW was opened on January 1, 1973 to fill a specific need. At that time there were no driveline specialists in the state and no balancer designed to service drive shafts.
David Lee Sr., President - Retired
Inventories were poor. We quickly formed vendor relationships to provide the best parts at the best price. And because of changing car designs we established a subsidiary company, FWD Axles, to service the growing front wheel drive market.
To fill the market need, we have invested all profits back into the company, opening branches in Tacoma in 1978, Everett in 1987. Presently we employ approximately 25 people. Only once in Drivelines NW's 30 year history was it necessary to lay off employees during a slow period. Many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years.
We are continually expanding and, to date, all management positions have been filled by employees within the company.
